Adoptables System

Adoptables System
Despite how heavily preferred it is that you actually make your own character, there is a second option to having a character.
Every so often, people will get tired of their character and want to stop playing it. But, those people won't always want to just let their character fester and die, and so will put it up for adoption. The only thing that you have to do to mark your character for adoption is to post as such in your Lore, before PMing a mod or admin to move it to the adoptable section.
After you've put your character up for adoption, you have no rights over who it goes to. As such, when you post it up you should note any requirements that you have. If you're picky about who plays them then you'd better let people know, or you won't be allowed to complain later.
If, in some weird scenario, a character is wanted by two people at the same time, both people will have to do an example post in character to show how well they play them. The member, or a member of staff if requested by the old player, will review it and see who they like in the role the most.
Note: Unless a character is involved in a special event, each person can only ever adopt one character. If you decide that you don't like it in retrospect and don't want it anymore, it's too late. You've chosen your one.
